October 31, 2009 – New York City
British artist Stephen Wiltshire arrived in New York from London with a mission to draw an 18 foot panorama of NYC. He completed his drawing from memory four days after a 20 minute helicopter ride taken on Friday Oct. 23rd.
Stephen completed this remarkable feat at Pratt Institute’s Juliana Curran Terian Design Gallery in Brooklyn, NY.
Afterward Stephen and his sister Annette leisurely enjoyed some of New York City’s finest museums and galleries escorted by art curator and educator Dr. Rosa C. Martinez.
Kudos to Stephen's sister Annette for her support of Stephen's remarkable talent and helping others to see the results when you support and "train the talent"!
Stephen is an extremely polite and reserved individual. He mostly enjoyed browsing the architectural collections in numerous bookstores. Stephen said he “Loves walking in New York City”.
